How you can help stop short-term rentals in your neighborhood
1. Attend a Plano City Council meeting
The most important thing you can do to help save our Plano neighborhoods is to attend a Plano City Council meeting in person and bring your friends and neighbors.
Volunteers from TNC Plano speak at these meetings during the public comments section that starts at 7 pm. Each speaker has only three minutes to talk. Your presence in the audience shows your support for our efforts and this cause. And our growing audience is making an impact.

The meetings are twice a month on the second and fourth Mondays. Sign up on our Events page to let us know you will be attending. Please arrive by 6:45 pm. The public comments section is finished by 7:30 pm.
2. Engage with Plano City Council online
If you cannot attend Plano City Council meetings in person, the next best thing is to attend online during each meeting. Online audiences are tracked by the city, so this level of engagement is important.

You also should email your opposition to short-term rentals in residential neighborhoods in Plano to all city council members. Send emails to councilcomments@plano.gov.

Also, email the city council member who represents your district to voice your opposition to STRs in Plano residential neighborhoods. Find your representative:
